Links to Learning

Links to Learning, our proprietary preschool curriculum for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, takes advantage of a child’s readiness to learn with activities that are fun, challenging, and engaging. Links to Learning is organized into six developmental stages incorporating seven subject areas. At each stage of the preschool journey, we introduce new concepts and skills while reviewing and reinforcing existing skills.

We link learning at school to learning at home

When parents & teachers work as partners in a child's education, the learning experience is richer & more meaningful.

Monthly Folder

Monthly Folder

Parents receive a monthly folder which includes samples of their child’s work and descriptions of the previous month’s skills, concepts, activities and goals. A letter is also included, outlining skills for the upcoming month and activities to continue the learning at home.

The Hallmarks of Links to Learning

At the heart of our Links to Learning curriculum lie five hallmarks: Social-Emotional Learning, Center-Based Learning, Literacy-Based Curriculum, Personalized Learning, and Family Communication. These key features help us foster an environment where students can explore, discover, and thrive.

Our teachers and school leaders strive to make communication as seamless as possible—giving you one less thing to worry about. We believe that your involvement in your child’s early childhood education is invaluable, and we’re here to provide the support you need.

Social-Emotional Learning

At our school, social-emotional learning matters just as much as reading and math. From learning to share and taking turns, to making friends and managing emotions, social-emotional skills are integrated into everything we do. Every activity in our classrooms is designed to help students build confidence and independence needed for a lifetime of learning.

Center-Based Learning

Centers are defined areas of our classroom that allow for hands-on learning in smaller groups and help children make connections between abstract concepts and real-world experiences. Whether playing with friends in the dramatic play center or conducting an experiment in the science center, your child will have a blast as they move throughout our classroom. Centers help build problem-solving, communication, and self-regulation skills.

Literacy-Based Curriculum

Our teachers build learning experiences centered around captivating books and provide students with constant access to printed text. Students forge meaningful connections between words and illustrations, and ask questions sparked by their natural curiosity. Teachers label classroom materials with photographs and words, facilitating familiarity and promoting independence.

Personalized Learning

Teachers employ a wide range of strategies to ensure that every student’s educational journey is uniquely tailored to their needs. Through small group interactions, they fine-tune lessons to match each student’s pace of growth and development. We cultivate an inclusive environment where every child feels valued, welcome, and empowered.

Family Communication

Our teachers and school leaders strive to make communication as seamless as possible—giving you one less thing to worry about. We believe that your involvement in your child’s early childhood education is invaluable, and we’re here to provide the support you need.
